Our 2005 Schedule & Calendar of Performers
The Way Inn offers music and fellowship every Saturday evening beginning at 7p.m.
MARCH 2005
March 19 Sergio Guevavera from Gouverneur, NY. Sergio is very
talented on the guitar and his wife accompanies him in song. He has also written
his own music in praise of the Lord.
APRIL 2005
April 2 Terry Ward, from Theresa, NY. Terry is a secretary at the
Nazarene Church in Watertown NY. Her music is Gospel contemporary.
April 9 Changed to an Afternoon Gospel Musician Fest from
1-5pm. Everyone who loves the Lord and would like to be a part of this time together is invited to come along and join us.
April 16 Billy Betters, from Liverpool NY. With Mark, his piano player. Talented and accomplished musicians.
April 23 Brad Childs will be coming from near Malone. He has
been in a group before and that evening we will also have a girls
trio from that area, known as One Voice.
April 30 Elijah's Fire, from Albany NY. Christian Rock. This is a versatile
group and will be able to play what the younger audience will like to hear. The leader has been a musician for many years.
MAY 2005
May 7 Brothers of One, from Verona NY. This group sounds much like Simon
and Garfunkel. They write most of their own music. Randy and Mark are
brothers in law. We have had them at The Way Inn many times and every
one has enjoyed their program.
May 28 Jeff Ward, from Lowville NY. Jeff is a music teacher at the Menonite
church in Castorland. We have had Jeff at The Way Inn before;
he is very talented and a very accomplished musician.
JUNE 2005
June 4 Dan Quinta, from Mannsville NY. Dan has also been at our Music Center. He writes praise songs to the Lord.
June 11 Change: The
scheduled performer will be unable to appear. Robert Sly, pastor of
Pleasant Meadows Baptist Church, will be singing some familiar songs
from Country Gospel music.
June 18 Musician Day from 1-5pm. All those who have a song for the Lord is welcomed to bring a song with them. We will
also have a time of fellowship afterwards.
June 25 This
evening we will be given an opportunity to hear two
female vocalists, Terry Ward and Denice Lusby, a double blessing for
The
Way Inn. Terry is a secretary for the Nazarene Church in Watertown, and
Denice is a secretary for a bank in Utica. Tthey both love the Lord.
JULY 2005
July 2 Richard C Brown has studied classical Piano for 12 years, privately and as a full time music student in Syracuse
and the University of Miami. He has lead worship for over 10 years
and presently leads worship at Shiloh Bible Church in East Syracuse. He is
working on a CD of orginal contemporary Christian Music
and is preparing for a public concert of classical piano.
July 5 There will be a concert for the Way Inn Christian Music
Center at The Shipyard Museum in Clayton, NY. Come out and support
The Way Inn so We can keep bringing good Christian music into the North Country every Saturday evening.
July 9 What Then? An original acoustic rock group that will be coming from Syracuse NY. The group consists of bass, drums, keyboard, vocals, and two
guitars. The group has a great line up of seasoned
musicians.
July 16 Carl LaGray. (more info coming)
July 2 One Voice. A female trio. Joining them will be Joyful Noise from Malone NY. The girls and Joyful Noise have great harmony
and a wonderful spirit, playing contemporary and
Southern Gospel.
July 30 The Puffers. They are a duet that travels all
over the United States. Many people have enjoyed their music down through the years. Southern Gospel.
AUGUST 2005
Aug 6 Our 7th Annual All Day Gospel Sing at Carthage
NY, with groups performing live and in person from 10am to 9pm. Come
and enjoy this whole wonderful day. Our scheduled performers include:
> 10-11am New Covenant Church, contemporary Christian music.
> 11-11:30am Jeff Ward, folk worship
> 11:30-12:00am Ron Sinclair, worship soloist
> 12-1:00pm Billy Betters Band, classic acoustic
> 1-2pm 5 Fold, Gospel
rock
> 2-3pm Fred Scerbo
> 3-4 pm Denice Ludsby, contempoaray Soloist
> 4-5:30 pm Seeley Sisters, Southern Gospel
> 5:30-6:00pm Heavenbound Gospel, country Gospel
> 6-7pm Paula Bailey and Company, country Gospel
> 7-8 New Testament Fellowship, praise & worship
> 8-9 Hymn Sing - bring your favorite hymns and worship songs to sing & share
.....Be sure to bring a lawn chair to relax in while you enjoy the day!.....
Aug 13 Bill and Paula Speers. This duo has been in Gospel music for
many years and make their home in Groveland, Fl. Appearing with them will also be Tim Bell. We will
have a three hour concert with Jim, his wife and Tim Bell. It will be
another great evening. I have heard that Jim sounds like Doug Oldham. We're looking forward to this evening.
Tim Bell is coming from Canada.
Aug 20 The Jacob Brothers, from Dillsburg, Pa. They have
many recordings and are a very versatile group. If you haven't
heard them before you are in for a real treat.
Aug 27 Julian and
Bonnie George had to cancel, so we will have in
their place Harry Jones. We met Harry at the benefit concert for our
Music Center when he sang with David Sheppard, who put on the program.
It was an inspiring time. We are looking forward to our evening with
brother Jones. He will probably be accompanied
by a lady that plays piano for him. He makes his residence
in Florida during the winter.
SEPTEMBER 2005
Sept 3 Gene Smith, from Verona, NY, will be bringing an evening of entertainment. He sings with background tapes; you will
surely rejoice in the program he puts together.
Sept 10 Donald Bryant, pastor from the United Methodist Church
in Clayton, NY. Donald is a very good musician.
Sept 17 Come enjoy a great
Musician Day at The Way Inn. Area musicians with a song for the Lord
are asked to come and join us from 12 noon til 5pm. All are welcome and invited to to join in!
Sept 24 Circle of Friends, a dynamic Gospel quartet, is from Ohio.
OCTOBER 2005
Oct 1
David Fuller from Governeur, NY, will be our singer. He truly has a
distinguished Country sound and will be singing a lot of everyone's
favorites as well as some of Randy Travis' Gospel songs

Oct 15 We are planning to have the group Sojourner, from Ohio.
Oct 22 Diamond
Someday, a bluegrass Gospel group from Syracuse. This is a seven piece
band that you won't want to miss if you like great Gospel bluegrass
music. Don't miss this evening - they are known all over New York and
other states as well.
Oct 29 Charlie and
Judy Tupper from Edwards, NY. Charlie has been singing for many years,
and also sings at nursing homes. His style is bluegrass. Judy sings
with him, and they complement each other well. They are a very loving
couple.
NOVEMBER 2005
Nov 5 Roger Dicob, from Glen Park, NY. Roger is involved with the Emmaus Road
discipleship program and has sung at many of our events. Those who know
Roger enjoy his spirit. He likes Randy Travis' Gospel songs.
Nov 12 Randy Simpson. Randy comes from the west side of New York
state and sings all over the East Coast. If you can come it will be a
great evening. He has at website www.randysimpson.org.
Nov 19
Musician Day at The Way Inn, 12-5pm. Musician Day is always an
interesting time with those who are growing in the Lord. Bring a tune,
bring an instrument or just bring yourself for a great time!
Nov26 Necessity Trio, from Muney PA. (we will have more information as we get closer to the date)
DECEMBER 2005
Dec 3
One Voice, from the Malone area. They are a trio of women that sound
similar to Points of Grace. They will be doing some Christmas music
along
with other Gospel music. They are a very talented group; their sister
has joined on guitar for some of their songs
Dec 10 The
Dunnamans, from Binghamton, NY. Reg and Gretchen have been singing for
more than a few years now. They travel all over the nation. Reg had
sung with a quartet in Canada, and his wife Gretchen was studying for to
be a opera singer when God brought them together and now they sing for
the Lord.
Dec 17 Our monthly Musician Day is always a great time in the Lord. The day lasts from noon til 5pm.
